Hello everyone!
Yesterday I had 2 cup of leftover lemon custard and 1 piece of chocolate tart dough, so I decide to make a cake to recycle them.
Ingredients for the base:
350 gr strong white flour
150 gr cane sugar
90 gr sunflower oil
40 gr dark chocolate drops
1 lemon zest
2 tsp of baking powder
no dairy milk as needed ( about 300 ml)
extra:
Leftover custard cream (200 gr) Click here for the recipe
leftover chocolate tart dough (100 gr) click here for the recipe
Method:
- Sift the flour in a mixing bowl and add the sugar, the oil and the lemon zest.
- Pour the milk little by little, whisking well, until the dough is smooth and soft.
- Sift the baking powder, stirring, and add the chocolate drops.
- Oil and dust with flour a cake pan
- Preheat the oven to 180°C
- Pour 2/3 of the dough in the cake pan and add the custard cream in the middle.
- Cover with the leftover dough
- Crumble the chocolate tart dough and distribute it on the cake surface
- Bake for 35 minutes or until the toothpick comes out clean ( insert the toothpick into the side because there is the custard in the middle 😀 )
- Let it cool and then enjoy!!!
This cake is very particular: creamy in the middle, crunchy in the top, full of flavour. We love it!
See you soon! Kiana

Ciao a tutti!
latte vegetale quanto basta ( circa 300 ml)
extra:
A noi è piaciuta tantissimo.
A presto! Kiana
