Vegan White Sauce – Besciamella vegan

I decided to write an other post on white sauce to explain, step by step, how to prepare the white sauce / Ho deciso di scrivere un altro post per spiegare passo passo come preparare la besciamella

Ingredients / Ingredienti:

500 ml soya milk  / 500 ml di latte di soia

5 tbsp flour / 5 cucchiai di farina

4 tbsp olive oil /4 cucchiai di olio di oliva

ground nutmeg to taste / noce moscata macinata q.b.

ground black pepper to taste / pepe nero macinato q.b.

salt to taste / sale q.b.

Method / Procedimento :

  1.   002  Stir the flour in a saucepan and add the olive oil / Setacciare la farina in un pentolino e aggiungere l’olio di oliva
  2. 005 Pour, little by little,  the soya milk and mix well / Versare, piano piano, il latte di soia e mescolare bene
  3. 006  Add the nutmeg, the black pepper and the salt and mix  /  Aggiungere il pepe, la nosce moscata e il sale e mescolare
  4. 009 Place the saucepan on the stove on low-medium heat and continue to mix until the sauce thickens / Mettere il pentolino sul fuoco a fiamma medio bassa e continuare a mescolare finchè la besciamella non si addensa
  5. 011 That’s your white sauce! / Ecco la vostra besciamella!
